Alyson Toombs Worthington

Managing Director

As Managing Director at Axiom Capital Corp. (“Axiom”) Alyson is responsible for commercial mortgage and equity origination and placement as well as CRE advisory.  She is a Licensed Real Estate Sales Person. Before joining Axiom, Alyson was Managing Partner & Principal for Silvermine Development Partners LLC (“Silvermine”) and a principal in Merritt Capital Investors, LLC (“Merritt”).  She has been actively involved in negotiating major transactions and managing projects from the principal and ownership perspective.  Silvermine focused on finding unique solutions to create real value in real estate.  She has been responsible for refinancing owned assets, acquisitions, and opportunistically creating value through hands-on renovations, improvements, and asset management. This has included the acquisition, branding, renovation, and divestiture of two major hotel & conference centers.  Additionally, she has experience navigating complex approval and environmental processes to increase project value.

Alyson is actively involved in the real estate community.  In particular, she devotes a significant amount of time to the Urban Land Institute.  She is a former Trustee and served in multiple leadership roles including Vice Chair of the Urban Mixed-Use Council.  Additionally, she served as the Vice Chair for Mission Advancement for the Westchester/Fairfield District Council.  Alyson has also worked in public finance for Morgan Stanley with a focus on providing capital financing solutions for higher education and not-for-profit institutions such as Cornell University, American University and National Geographic Society.  Alyson is an ex-lacrosse player and an avid equestrian.  In her spare time, she enjoys both riding and caring for horses.
